We begin with the major works of tafsir — Al-Tabari, Ibn Kathir, Al-Qurtubi, Al-Zamakhshari, Al-Razi — and situate every discussion within the tradition of Qur'anic commentary.

Dr. Yusuf Al-Rashid
Senior Scholar, Tafsir & Qur'anic Sciences
Dr. Al-Rashid holds a doctorate in Islamic Studies from the University of Jordan and has studied under traditional scholars in Egypt and Syria. His research focuses on the classical tafsir tradition, particularly the methodologies of Al-Tabari and Ibn Kathir. He has taught Qur'anic sciences for over two decades and is the author of three books on the history of tafsir.
Ustadha Maryam Khalil
Scholar, Thematic Studies & Arabic Linguistics
Ustadha Maryam studied Arabic linguistics and Qur'anic studies at Al-Azhar University and completed advanced studies in Islamic jurisprudence in Morocco. Her work explores the literary and rhetorical dimensions of the Qur'an, with particular attention to its use of metaphor, narrative, and address. She is a sought-after teacher in both traditional and contemporary educational settings.
Sheikh Ibrahim Nasser
Scholar, Spirituality & Prophetic Tradition
Sheikh Ibrahim received his traditional Islamic education in West Africa and later pursued graduate studies in Islamic thought at the International Islamic University Malaysia. His writing bridges the classical spiritual tradition — particularly the works of Ibn al-Qayyim and Al-Ghazali — with the concerns of contemporary Muslim life. He is known for his ability to make the wisdom of the tradition vivid and personally resonant.
